Data Centres & Digital Infrastructure

Capacity for growth.
A coherent legal foundation.

The legal connections between land, power, capacity, technology and investment.

A data centre’s commercial position depends on more than the facility. Site rights, power, connectivity, equipment and customer commitments must fit the same operating model. Adad advises investors, developers, operators, lenders and enterprise customers on the Qatar legal arrangements behind that investment.

We examine the points where obligations meet: construction completion and commissioning, utility availability and customer start dates, equipment acceptance and service performance. A delay or failure in one agreement can create exposure elsewhere in the project.

Our work covers investment structures, acquisitions and joint ventures, land and leases, construction, procurement, operations, colocation, cloud and capacity agreements. Availability, liability, data responsibilities, continuity, expansion and exit are considered in relation to the business that the facility supports.

For AI and high-density computing facilities, the legal documents are informed by the technical team’s specifications for power, cooling, equipment and performance. We coordinate the Qatar corporate, project, finance and regulatory advice with the other advisers to the mandate.
